GROUP TOUR GAMBIA IN THE RAINY SEASON / 15 DAYS / 14.07.2023 - 28.07.2023

In July, the breeding season (and rainy season) really gets going and Gambia turns beautifully green after a few rains. The birds sing and show off their full splendour. Insects and butterflies abound and chameleons show up more often. Despite the rain in July and early August, this is our favourite period. Mainly because you see many species you rarely encounter in the other months. Sometimes it can rain solidly for several days, with dry periods in between. Sometimes it doesn't rain for more than a week ... Keep in mind chances of showers if you decide to come to The Gambia in the rainy season.

This program is flexible and depends on transportation, local conditions, availability of camps and the latest sightings.

Our group tours consist of small groups of 4 to 8 persons so that we can give the best possible service.
Priority during our trips are the spotting and/or photographing of birds, but Gambia is of course more than just birds.
During our round tours we also pay attention to mammals, reptiles, insects and the beautiful nature that Gambia has to offer.
The Gambian culture, the delicious food, and a little bit of relaxing may of course not be missed :-)
