GROUP TOUR / PHOTO TOUR GAMBIA IN 15 DAYS / 17.05.2023 - 31.05.2023

The Gambia is the closest tropical destination for birdwatchers from the Benelux, just a 6-hour flight away.

Across the Gambia runs the Gambia River and along the Gambian coast are many sandy beaches.

The Gambia River delta is swampy with mangrove vegetation. The north of The Gambia has a savannah landscape with tall grasses, shrubs and trees. South of the Gambia River the forest savannah begins. The birds in The Gambia are easy to photograph and much less shy than in Europe.

More than 680 species of birds have been observed in the Gambia. However, we do not go for spotting as many species as possible but mainly to capture as many species as possible beautifully. This photography trip is guided by experts. We welcome photographers of any level of experience or equipment.

  • You will travel with a recognised English-speaking bird guide.

This programme is flexible and depends on transport , local conditions, availability of camps and latest sightings.

BOOK NOW, WITHOUT DEPOSIT
Our group tours consist of small groups of 4 to 8 persons so that we can give the best possible service.
Priority during our trips are the spotting and/or photographing of birds, but Gambia is of course more than just birds.
During our round tours we also pay attention to mammals, reptiles, insects and the beautiful nature that Gambia has to offer.
The Gambian culture, the delicious food, and a little bit of relaxing may of course not be missed :-)
