GROUP TOUR GAMBIA & SENEGAL - NOVEMBER 2023
Experience Africa at only a 6-hour flight from Belgium and the Netherlands.
The Gambia River runs straight through the country and there are many sandy beaches along the Gambian coast.
The delta of the Gambia River is swampy with mangrove vegetation. The north of Gambia has a savannah landscape with long grasses, bushes and trees. South of the Gambia River begins the forest savannah. The birds in Gambia are good to photograph and much less shy than in Europe.
We start at the coast and follow the Gambia River far inland in search of the most beautiful birds in various habitats.
More than 680 species of birds have been observed in The Gambia. However, we do not go for spotting as many species as possible, but mainly for capturing as many species as possible. This photography trip is guided by experts. We welcome photographers of any level of experience or equipment.
You will travel together with a certified English-speaking bird guide and a Dutch-speaking guide.
This programme is flexible and depends on transport, local conditions, availability of camps and the latest observations.

Our group tours consist of small groups of 4 to 8 persons so that we can give the best possible service.
Priority during our trips are the spotting and/or photographing of birds, but Gambia is of course more than just birds.
During our round tours we also pay attention to mammals, reptiles, insects and the beautiful nature that Gambia has to offer.
The Gambian culture, the delicious food, and a little bit of relaxing may of course not be missed :-)
