Round tour from the mangroves at the coast to the savannah landscapes upcountry.
All camps and lodges in the program are close to the photo locations, so that we can make the best use of our time. The Gambia and Senegal are home to as many as 9 species of kingfishers, 5 species of rollers, 8 species of bee-eaters and 10 species of sunbirds. As many as 690 species have been observed in this small country. During this trip, we will do our best to spot as many species as possible or get the best possible pictures. Depending on where your preference lies. We start the trip just 20km from the airport, in a small and quiet village by the mangroves of the Tanbi wetlands. The trip starts here in our own guesthouse, or Mandinari River lodge ... depending on availability. At the Senegambia Birding lodge, you will be welcomed by the owner and given a word about your trip. Nearby and our own tropical garden and photography lodge, there are enough species to be photographed to fill the first few days. You'll then head inland to explore the authentic Gambia. Different environment, and different species. An experienced and well-trained guide and driver will accompany you throughout the trip through this beautiful country, ensuring you enjoy this trip safely and relaxed. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Priority during our trips are the spotting and/or photographing of birds, but Gambia is of course more than just birds.
During our round tours we also pay attention to mammals, reptiles, insects and the beautiful nature that Gambia has to offer.
The Gambian culture, the delicious food, and a little bit of relaxing may of course not be missed :-)
