2. Reservation & payment – A booking is confirmed after payment or written confirmation. Changes/cancellations are possible in accordance with our cancellation policy.

3. Prices – All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to change until confirmation.

4. Liability – We are not liable for indirect damages, delays caused by third parties, or unforeseen circumstances. Please consult your insurer regarding travel or cancellation insurance.

5. Conduct – Guests are expected to behave respectfully. In case of serious misconduct, we reserve the right to refuse service without refund.

6. Complaints – Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after departure to contact@senegambiabirding.com.

7. Changes by us – We reserve the right to modify services or conditions. Published updates apply from the moment of publication.

8. Applicable law & disputes – Gambian law applies. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Gambia.

In The Gambia, it is especially important to exercise caution when it comes to property transactions. Unfortunately, it is still all too common for land or buildings to be sold or transferred unlawfully, without the knowledge of the rightful owner. This can have serious legal and financial consequences, both for local and international parties. At Belgambia Tours & Guesthouse Ltd., we take this reality extremely seriously.

Our lodge, the entire property in Mandinari, and all associated infrastructure are fully and officially registered in the name of our company, as recognized by the relevant governmental authorities. This registration is not only administrative, but also legally binding and essential, as part of our land lies within the protected Tanbi Wetlands National Park. We hold all the necessary documents, permits, and ownership certificates, properly registered with the Gambian government and other relevant institutions. Our property is also actively monitored and legally protected.
